Newport Beach police took a report of felony vandalism on Tuesday in the 3200 block of East Coast Highway.
The vandalism occurred between 10:15 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., according to a police report. There was no damage amount listed, and the vandalism was not described on the report.
According to police department spokeswoman Jennifer Manzella, the vandalism involved a car that had been keyed on the passenger side.
“The victim was relatively sure that the vandalism had occurred at the location reported, but it may have occurred earlier,” she said. “The victim estimates that the damage will cost $2,000 to $2,500 to repair.”
